The little lady pictured above is Kaitlin Kelly, the namesake of Kaitlin’s Hideout. Kaitlin has autism and a year ago, her mom, Lisa, opened Kaitlin’s Hideout, a play center for children with autism and other special needs, as well as an informational, social and emotional support source for families of special needs children. In order to make the Hideout accessible to as many families as possible, Lisa requests a small $10 donation to help defray the costs of running the playhouse. At this time, the donations are not keeping up with the costs and Lisa has taken on a second job as a bus driver to make ends meet. This situation impacts the Hideout’s schedule limiting its available times. The Project is to raise funds to support one year worth of operating expenses for Kaitlin’s Hideout. Kaitlin’s Hideout is a play center for children with autism and other special needs, as well as an informational, social and emotional support source for families of special needs children.
Owned and operated by the mother of a child with autism, we are very aware of what families are going through on a day to day basis.
As a small “grass roots, ground breaking” organization, we strive relentlessly to provide support for parents and caregivers. We provide a place where they can go to gain resources, ask questions and get answers, as well as “feel understood”, and “feel the love” from others that are on the very same challenging journey.
We stay up to date on a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional therapies/interventions, including but not limited to, homeopathic, biomedical, nutrient supplementation and diets. We help families navigate through the massive amounts of information out there on these subjects and strive to guide and support them in making important decisions about their child’s treatments.
Dedicated to spreading autism awareness and educating the public, we help families far beyond their visit to our center.
We also have special activities and events…Parent Support Meetings, Parent Support “mini workshops,” Birthday/Holiday Parties, Special “targeted” needs programs, Yoga therapy nights, Host school community outing trips, Host community trips for residents of several “group homes.”
Please help BOOST our cause with the purchase of a Embrace Unique BoostTee or by making a donation…Thank you.

When we first met Lisa Kelly, founder of Kaitlin’s Hideout, one of the desires she shared with us was that one day those untouched by autism would accept and embrace those with autism as unique individuals. As we all have different abilities, challenges, dispositions and views of the world we live in, so do those with autism. We should “Embrace Unique.”
To capture this concept, we thought that nothing better represents an individual's uniqueness than their fingerprint. After we learned that the kids at Kaitlin’s Hideout are amazing finger painters, we decided to “branch” out this concept to include finger-paint hand prints. Combining this concept with the embracing support of a tree tied the message together in a truly unique way.
Help us “Embrace Unique” and support Kaitlin’s Hideout with this one-of-a-kind shirt made from 50% recycled polyester (from plastic bottles) and 50% transitional organic cotton.
