Land of Hope & Dreams: Relief for Victims of Hurricane Sandy

If I had a cape & a cute tiara I’m certain I could save the world.” We are quite certain Sam doesn’t need the cape and tiara to do a lot of good in this world. Though certainly bruised by the pain that has befallen her friends and neighbors, Sam’s big heart is enough to get the job done. Sam has launched the Land of Hope and Dreams Project to bring direct relief to those affected by Hurricane Sandy in New Jersey and New York. Proceeds from your purchases and donations will help Sam deliver food and supplies through the First Bible Church of Staten Island, NY (www.firstbible.org) and the Seaside Heights Volunteer Fire Department in Seaside Heights, NJ (www.shfd44.com). The Project starts with a goal of $1000, but we are confident that, through your shirt purchases and donations, we can exceed that objective. Land of Hope and Dreams BoostTee

When we started our discussion with Sam about her Project, she made it clear (and we agreed) that our design should deliver a positive message signifying the comeback that New Jersey and New York would inevitably make from Sandy's wrath.

Touched by the scenes of destruction and devastation, we sought to convey an affirming "will be again" image. We chose a silhouette of the iconic Jersey Boardwalk and the words of the Boss, Bruce Springsteen, to project our support, encouragement and inspiration for those still fighting for normalcy.
